Magnetic Sheave Alignment Laser for Johnson Level & Tool

The Johnson's 40-6200 Sheave Laser boasts a compact size, making it easy to use on small diameter sheaves. This laser can be employed to check the height and flatness of motor and gear box mounting plates, as well as align pulleys, sheaves, sprockets, gear trains, rollers, platforms, conveyors, and other plant equipment.

The Red Magnetic sheave alignment kit includes a sheave alignment laser tool that projects a plane of laser light parallel with the faces of any drive and driven sheaves. Adjustable targets, which attach to the sheaves, intersect the laser beam and visually display any misalignment. The retro reflective film on the centerline of the target reflects the laser beam and glows, enhancing visibility and accuracy. This sheave alignment kit is accurate enough to exceed all belt manufacturers' recommendations for belt drive alignment.

The system is easy to use, understand, and operates with very few moving parts. Viewing the laser line on a target is a direct and easily interpreted process. The industrial environment in which sheave alignment systems are used can be dirty and oily, and the handling of the parts can be rough and abusive. This system, however, is highly durable, significantly more so than other types of systems.

The Johnson Magnetic Sheave Laser is designed to offer a high accuracy level ranging from +/- 1/6 in. to 10 ft. It is made to decrease vibrations on pulleys and sheave systems, helping minimize wear on belts and motor bearings.

The alignment level tool features rare earth magnets that ensure a secure attachment to ferrous metals, allowing for quicker and safer set up. The strong magnets offer accurate alignment, reducing noise and abrasion.

Featuring three laser targets, the magnetic aligning tool easily adjusts to various width sheaves, providing versatility. The compact size of the tool also makes it easy to use on sheaves with a small diameter.

The sheave laser has a red laser wavelength of 635nm+/-10nm, allowing for quick checking of the height and flatness of gear box and motor mounting plates. It is also suitable for various alignment jobs on sprockets, rollers, and other plant equipment.

Powered by 2 "AAA" alkaline batteries (included), the Red Sheave Alignment Kit has a battery life of up to 10 hours. It comes packed in a hard case for protection and easy carrying.
